Welcome!
I would like to welcome you to my classroom website! My name is Stephanie Jordet and this is my first year teaching in Bridgman Public Schools. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelors of art degree in Elementary Education. I also have additional certifications in language arts and social studies. My previous teaching experiences took place in Willow Run Community Schools, Ann Arbor Public Schools, and Dearborn Public Schools.
I am originally from Dearborn, MI. I enjoy running, playing soccer, swimming, reading, and writing. In my spare time, I also like to travel and scrapbook. I am a proud U of M Wolverine fan and I frequently attend football games and other sporting events at U of M. In addition to U of M sports, I like to watch the Detroit sports teams play in person or on the television.
In the classroom, I am committed to helping my students learn and perform at the highest level of which they are capable. My hope for this school year is that my students will grow exponentially and learn as much from me as I will learn from them. I am excited for this school year and the wonderful learning opportunities that await not only me but my students as well!
